I plan to write about functional programming on this subdomain. I’m very fond
of it, as you may know by now. It’s also about another way of thinking and
approaching problems. I recommend the following books and/or articles:
I read lots of blogs on FP; I recommend this one on Hacker news
for an interesting deep-dive. My FP journey has been inspired by the one and
only Alexey Kutepov a.k.a. Tsoding/rexim.
Watch this video in particular; it’s about GHC and FFI with
C. Also, this video is too interesting, and funny too!
The following lecture series by Brian Beckman are too interesting; I liked
Don’t fear the Monad, The Zen of Stateless State - The State
Monad. I continually discover new lecture, video series which I’ll
keep writing about here.
Lastly, we prove the haters wrong; Monad is more than just a monoid in the
category of endofunctors. Rexim’s video on IO monad is a
must to watch!
